Wednesday Evening, November 9th, 2022, 6:00pm until 8pm.
Dudley Memorial Building/University Galleries, Multi-Purpose Room
202 University Circle on the campus of NC A&T State University
Join us for a panel discussion of the history and legacy of Greensboro’s Black architects and builders. This event will build on the We Built This exhibit currently on display at NCA&T’s University galleries and will include important perspectives from panelists including Clinton Gravely, Jane Levy, Robert Powell, James Cox, and Ron Bailey. Topics include documentation of early architects and builders, memories and recollections of key individuals, and thoughts on the influence of their work. This discussion will help us better document this legacy for future writing, interpretation, and tours. The event is free.
