Preservation Greensboro’s 52nd Annual Meeting

Join us to learn more about the state of historic preservation in Greensboro! This meeting serves as Preservation Greensboro’s annual General Membership Meeting that will include the presentation of Preservation Awards.In addition to awards and a community update by our executive director Benjamin Briggs, we will enjoy a presentation by Jim Dodson.
Jim Dodson is a Greensboro-based writer of 14 books (including a few NYT bestsellers), founding editor of O.Henry and Seasons magazines, and Distinguished Alumnus of East Carolina University. He is also an avid historian and honorary preservationist, currently writing a book on the history of the Great Wagon Road on which early settlers traveled to the central Piedmont of North Carolina. Jim will share his perspectives and perceptions of history, architecture, historic preservation, and the treasured places of Greensboro.
