Brewer, and Frank Weston. The tour includes portions of the actual park, including the work of master stonemason Andrew Leopold Schlosser.
This is one of many tours across the city, now in its 11th season, in celebration of Preservation Greensboro’s 50th anniversary in 2016! The walking tours will be led by Preservation Greensboro’s Urban Guide Ryan Gray and Executive Director Benjamin Briggs. You will gain insights on Greensboro’s first park, redevelopment issues, and early examples of apartment housing. Tours will take a little over an hour depending on questions.
