Preservation Greensboro’s 53rd Annual Meeting

Join us to learn more about the state of historic preservation in Greensboro! This meeting serves as Preservation Greensboro’s annual General Membership Meeting that will include the presentation of Preservation Awards.In addition to awards and a community update by our executive director Benjamin Briggs.
Our speaker for the evening is G. Edwin (“Eddie”) Belk, founder of Belk Architecture. Architects and preservationists recognize Belk for his reputation of reviving treasured industrial buildings into community economic engines by enhancing historic features and placemaking. The Rowan County native has converted some of North Carolina’s most iconic tobacco warehouses and textile mills by preserving their hand-made bricks and heart-pine floors. Local projects include include the Revolution Mill complex and the Mock Judson Voehringer Mill.
