Explore Los Angeles through its cutting-edge architecture, exotic gardens, and extraordinary art! Join us for this for-night excursion that includes accommodation at the Omni Los Angeles, trip-related fees and admissions; ground transportation and three dinners. Excluded are airfare and airport transfers, meals not specified in the itinerary and alcoholic beverages. Supplemental fees apply for Stahl House Tour.
Our tour begins with the exceptional Stahl House, an icon of Mid-Century Modern architecture and the perfect place to start our venture while looking down across the plains of the city from the Hollywood Hills. Thursday morning we begin with a casual walking tour of dynamic downtown, including art deco munuments such as the Los Angeles public library, motion picture houses, and Pershing Square. We will enjoy a tour of the Walt Disney Concert Hall by Frank Gehry before enjoying an intimate tour of the new Broad Museum by Diller Scofidio + Renfro. The day will adjourn after a late afternoon visit at the Museum of Contemporary Art. On Friday, we will explore the Huntington Library and Gardens before making our way to Pasadena to tour the iconic craftsman Gamble House. We will close our day by enjoying the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in the San Gabriel Mountains.
On Saturday morning we will tour key Los Angeles sights by motor coach, including Union Station, Angelino Heights, and the monumental Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Hollyhock House. Our day will commence with an architectural tour of the world renowned Getty Museum, high atop the Santa Monica mountains.
Dinner reservation are included with this tour, and locations include the most sought after eateries in the city. Pez Cantina and Blue Cow Kitchen abd Bar are among our culinary destinations!
